Welcome to WACC website...

Watford Asian Community Care (WACC) is a community based Charity, providing health and social care services for Asian people in Three Rivers, Watford and Hertsmere. WACC provides ethnically and culturally sensitive services to the elderly, the disabled, the frail and the socially isolated individuals and their carers within the Asian community.

WACC is funded by Hertfordshire County Council in order to facilitate access to these supportive services. The services include running four luncheon clubs (Tuesdays to Fridays), a Meals on Wheels service, frequent health and wellbeing awareness and advice sessions, daily exercise activities, day trips to places of interest and celebration of some religious and cultural festivals. WACC also provides advocacy support and signposting. There is in addition support for Carers and Users from a Carer Support Officer and a Community Development Officer.
